Prince Protects His Music By Going To The White House

Prince is going to the White House to talk about copyright protection. He's an artist who wants to take a strong stance on issues dealing with his music. Prince also refuses to allow his past hits to be sold digitally online.

“I personally can’t stand digital music. You’re getting sound in bits,” he tells the Guardian newspaper. “It affects a different place in your brain. When you play it back, you can’t feel anything. We’re analog people, not digital," says Prince.

He’s also taken measures to prevent his music or images being used online, and is always battling to remove his videos on YouTube.
Well, the 53-year-old musician is apparently ready to take his issues all the way to the White House and do something about it.

“I’m supposed to go to the White House to talk about copyright protection. It’s like the gold rush out there. Or a carjacking. There’s no boundaries,” he said.

Prince will headline this year’s Hop Farm Music Festival in Kent on July 3. Tickets for the event are on sale now.
