Sweet Dreams Are Made Of This...

Remember that song?  (singing) "Sweet dreams are made of this, who am I to disagree? I travel the world and the seven seas.  Everybody's looking for something."  Those are lyrics from the song 'Sweet Dreams.'  The group was called Eurythmics, and the lead singer was Annie Lennox.  Annie Lennox has produced and written music for just about EVERYBODY!  Remember the Preacher's Wife soundtrack?  You know that was when Whitney Houston sung, "I Believe In You And Me"  and "I Love The Lord."  Also, there was a song on that soundtrack entitled, "Step By Step."  Well, Annie Lennox produced that song and sung background!
Annie's biggest musical hits come from her 1992 album entitled, Diva.  The main two BIG hits were "Why" and "Walking On Broken Glass." I LOVE both of those songs!  Anyway, Lennox has announced that she will stop touring. Yep! Lennox says she's mentally and physically exhausted.  She probably should be because she's been performing and touring since the 70's!
On Friday, she took to Facebook to thank fans for their support over the years before announcing she will probably never tour again.
She writes, "You've sent in the most lovely comments, and it's kind of thrilling to get replies from as far as Hawaii to Poland! I doubt that I'll ever tour again because quite honestly ... it just wears me out mentally and physically, and my back and left foot are rubbish.
"In any case," she adds, "I think I spent enough time waiting in cars, hotel rooms and dressing rooms ... In the future performers will tour by hologram on a regular basis ... love Annie."  Wow! By hologram, now that would be kind of cool but scary.
