Nick Cannon Expresses His Feelings About His Twins
Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon have been released from hospital with their twins Moroccan and Monroe and are now all at home.
Mariah, 41, who welcomed Moroccan and Monroe on April 30, has now left the hospital, and Cannon is really happy because it will be the first time they are all together without medical professionals.
Speaking at the KIIS FM Wango Tango concert in Los Angeles on Saturday, he told Access Hollywood: “My twins came home [today]. I didn’t even want to leave, but I had to because I’ve got to be here. It’s the first day to have my children at home, so I have been loving that.”
The “America’s Got Talent” host added: ‘It’s a whole other level now because they’re at home. There’s no hospital rooms, and there’s no nurses, it is just us. So, it’s real. It’s a little scary at times, but we’re handling it.”
And the 30-year-old admits he has been finding it quite hard being away from the twins.
“I didn’t know it was going to be this tough to leave home every time! Like, I left the hospital to go to New York to do promotion earlier in the week – that was tough,” he said. “But I’m dealing with it.”
Meanwhile, Cannon tells Billboard that Mariah has been busy recording a new album during her pregnancy.
“She’s planning on having a record out this year,” he says. “She’s been working away, and we have a studio in the crib, and — the pregnancy — has totally inspired her on so many different levels. You’re definitely gonna see some new phenomenal music from Mariah.”
