Remember 'Showtime At The Apollo'? I remember trying to stay up late to see the amateur hopefuls sing there way to the top. They would come out and rub that piece of tree stump for good luck and then Steve Harvey would greet them! LOL!! I always thought Steve was a better host than Mo'nique... Oh gosh, she was sooooooo LOUD! Guess you picked up that I don't watch the Mo'nique show huh? LOL!
Well get ready because 'Showtime At The Apollo' is returning and this time it's going to be on BET! The network is finalizing a deal for a pilot to be produced by Jamie Foxx and the show’s original executive director, Don Weiner.
“Showtime” will continue along the same vein of tradition and will feature the Apollo Theater’s Amateur Night. Hopefully it will be as good as it use to be.
