X-Men: First Class # 1 Movie In The Country

Hats off to the cast and crew of X-Men: First Class for earning the title of the number one movie at the box office over the weekend.  X-Men brought in $56,000,000 over the weekend.  Many movie critics expected more from the mutanted film.

Here's what the movie is about and I promise I won't spoil it.  Before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, and before Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Not archenemies, they were instead at first the closest of friends, working together with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to prevent nuclear Armageddon. In the process, a grave rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto's Brotherhood and Professor X's X-Men.
Now keep in mind I saw this movie and I had never seen any of the X-Men movie prior to this one.  I really enjoyed it.  It was full of action and the special effects were great.  I must admit that at times it was a little difficult to follow the story-line but other than that it was pretty good.  I give X-Men an 8 out of 10.
