Yet Another Football Player Stabbed By His Girlfriend


Denver Broncos defensive end Jason Hunter was allegedly stabbed by his girlfriend and sent to a Detroit hospital on Wednesday, via ESPN.
Detroit Officer Dan Donakowski said Hunter was stabbed on Wednesday, but didn't offer any other details, including where the incident took place, suspects in the stabbing or Hunter's condition.
According to Detroit-area media reports, via ESPN, the fifth-year pro was stabbed by his girlfriend.
It marks the second incident in which a football player has been allegedly stabbed by his girlfriend in a matter of a few days, Miami Dolphins receiver Brandon Marshall reportedly stabbed by his girlfriend with a kitchen knife in Florida.
Hunter has played for the Green Bay Packers, Detroit Lions and Broncos entering his sixth year in the league and played in all 16 games for the Broncos in 2010, registering 60 tackles, three sacks and an interception.
